About The Department

The Computer Science & Engineering Department was established with a vision to provide the sense of creativity, talent and knowledge in Computer Technology. The study of computer science includes the systematic study of algorithms in order to obtain information from a wide variety of springs

The study of computing, automation, and information is known as computer science. Theoretical disciplines such as algorithms, theory of computing, and information theory)and practical disciplines such as programming are all part of computer science including the design and implementation of hardware and software Computer science is distinct from computer programming in that it is a field of academic research.

Training:

To increase the employ ability of the students by preparing them to meet the expectations of the industries. It also conducts a number of training programs in the area of domain skills & soft skills by inviting eminent speakers from the industries. It conducts aptitude development workshop, mock tests, group discussions & personal interviews for the students.

The department liaisons with the prime industries and invites them for conducting on-campus & off-campus drives for selection of the students. The department also takes feedback from the employers, so as to prepare the student to meet the expectations of the industries.

Placement:

The software and applications are the primary fields of active research within the Department. Ongoing faculty research includes areas such as surface computing, databases, data mining, distributed computing, graphics, image processing, software engineering, rough sets, Big Data Hadoop, artificial intelligence, Cloud Computing, Ubiquitous Computing.

College is providing Emerging technology support like Machine learning, Data Science, Python Programming, Block-chain and Data Analytics.
